Jacaranda Golf Club - East Course
9200 WEST BROWARD BLVD PLANTATION, FL 33324
Jacaranda
is a semi-private club open to the public with two 18-hole courses known
simply as the East and the West. The country club is located West of Ft.
Lauderdale, off I-595 in the Plantation community. Both courses were designed
by Mark Mahannah in the early 70's with several updates in the last decade.
Both East and West courses are Championship length par 72 with similar
course and slope ratings. The East plays about 450 yards longer at 7195
yards but is fairly wide open versus the West's 6729 yards with somewhat
more restricted target areas.
Jacaranda is a semi-private club offering membership at very reasonable
rates and packages to fit individual needs.
Both East and West Courses have played host to qualifying events for
the USGA and PGA, most recently the Sectional US Amateur Qualifying site
for the finals held at Baltusrol Golf Club last summer. Jacaranda is proud
to offer plush rolling fairways, smooth undulating greens, and the contrast
of pure white sand bunkers and shimmering waters to test your skills.
Both East and West Courses feature 4 sets of tees to help you find a challenge
suitable to your abilities. The staff believes that great service should
accompany great golf and they pride themselves on providing a private
country club experience. The facility has also earned recognition from
the South Florida PGA as it's "Club of the Year."
DIRECTIONS: From I-595, take Exit 5 (Pine Island Road). Drive
1½ miles north on Pine Island Road to Broward Blvd. Travel ¼
mile west to Jacaranda Country Club Drive.
