 Tiger
Point Golf & Country Club, built along the Santa Rosa Sound in Florida’s
Panhandle, is considered the “crown jewel” of Florida’s
Emerald Coast. The course was designed by US Open champion Jerry Pate
in 1984, who joined forces with International Golf Maintenance (IGM),
in overseeing a $1.4 million renovation to the East Course.
The 36-hole, semi-private club is located in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Both
courses feature spectacular waterfront scenery. The East Course is designed
in the Scottish Links style, wherein players don’t return to the
clubhouse until they’ve completed the full 18 holes, and features
an island green on the fifth hole.
DIRECTIONS: From I-10, take I-110 south to the end and follow
the signs to Gulf Breeze / Pensacola Beach. Once in Gulf Breeze follow
Hwy 98 for 6 miles. Tiger Point is on right hand side.
